The rule

How it plays

  1. A spiral of dots on one line. The dot showing 2 is lit, with the two flagged dots joined to it.

    Read a number

    It counts the mines on the dots joined to it.

  2. A random board part way through, with opened numbered dots and flags on proven mines.

    Flag the mines

    Work out which dots must be mines, and flag them.

  3. The face puzzle solved: a chain of blasts runs through its flagged mines.

    Set it off

    Flag the last mine and the board goes up in a chain reaction.
